Oakridge Elementary School families, teachers, and surrounding Arlington communities care deeply about the success and achievement of our students. For this purpose, the Oakridge PTA (Parent Teacher Association) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, 100% volunteer-based organization that connects parents with teachers, administrators, and supportive business/community leaders to address resource needs, drive initiatives that improve the student experience, and collectively support student success.
Oakridge students and families live across Long Branch Creek, Arlington Ridge, Aurora Highlands, and Crystal City Civic Associations
The general boundaries of Oakridge are I-395 (West,) Four Mile Run (South), S Joyce St/15th St (North), and GW Parkway (East)
The Oakridge PTA is comprised of motivated volunteers from diverse backgrounds who want to make Oakridge the best place possible for our kids to learn and grow. At its core, the PTA is built to support the foundational learning partnerships between students, parents, and teachers. Oakridge PTA seeks to enhance these foundations by routinely promoting events and funding activities that encourage engagement, build community connections, celebrate diversity, and stimulate learning.
